As at this time - 9.53 am - it's low cloud and rain tippling down. Hope it clears.

Errol, those images of Richard flying the Pitts will probably be requested full size for "posterising" and wall displaying in John E's hangar. Nice work!

That B757 put on an awesome show on the Friday at Hood. I hope they put it through it's paces again for you all down there!! It's finished the series of 30 odd flights to Antarctica and back for summer so is freer for displays now.

I've been searching the internet looking for other people's blogs on the airshow, and so far have only found one here on the SAAF Forum. www.saairforce.co.za/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5992Some interesting comments and photos, some "behind the scenes" shots as well.

Not sure how this will look ( or even if it will work ) , but I quite like this one ( for the background as much as anything )

So privileged to have one!! NZ5216
It's great they can preserve it dry under cover and keep it looking original and obviously capable of being airworthy too, for as long as they have floor space.

Morning, there is now 56 photos on the site. The photographer is a Corsair fan I think.

Up to 64 this morning. Derek Flynn seems to be getting really good images. It is a pleasure to see newspaper photogs getting flying aircraft right. Usually there are stopped props everywhere. Mr Flynn has excellent skills.

The shot of the 190 chasing down the trainer Spit is a cracker! Awesome! No wonder there are so many Corsair pics, they are great photos.

Keith Skilling as usual in the FG-1D looking cool with his huge aviators on... - he really throws the Corsair around so smoothly. Is there no P40 there with him this show? Those two performed a wonderful tandom act together at Hood.
