Roger Young just rang me and asked if I place this onto the forum. He has made a DVD about the history of the PL-11 Airtruck topdresser that was built in Te Kuiti. The DVD is 28 minutes in length.
He'd like to know if there is any interest here on the forum - would members like to buy a copy?
If you're interested in this please indicate here. We may set up a scheme where I can get a batch in from Roger in Australia and distribute them from here. We just need to know if there's worthwhile interest please.

Is this a new and expanded DVD, or is it the one Roger sent me a few years ago?
The one I already have I ran at the Cambridge forum meet for you guys to see a couple of years ago.
If it is newer, then yes I'd like one.

It is a slightly expanded and updated version. Roger mentioned something about perhaps $15.00 plus postage.

Russell has recently published a book entitled "The Story of Te Kuiti" and the book has a chapter on the Airtruck. Go to the website for more details. |
