Love the camo -you don't see that kind of thing on planes!! Was it sprayed or brushed on?

Some German and especially Italian aeroplanes have pretty exotic camo schemes, I always think the Italians painted their aeroplanes like the pizzas they are famous for!

Was this a standard model kit that you modified or was it an option to have the rc gear installed?

Tamiya kit, they do around 9 or 10 1/16th kits, full rc with full proportional control, engine sound, main gun and machine gun. You can buy IR after market sender/receivers and have combat. My kit has a few after-market and scratch built mods, opening hatches with crew, pe grills, pretty conservative compared to what some folk do. You can buy replacement gear boxes different sound systems replacement bearings the whole hog if you want to spend the $. There are a few forums on rc tanking, Aussie one Hobby Havoc, here is a link to my Panther's build. hobbyhavoc.com/forum/index.php?topic=1358.0

That's quite comprehensive. Very cool indeed.

Saw the heading and thought, thats cool, someone has done a R/C model of Grumman's straight winged carrier jet but no such achievement, when I go ahead and open the thread and what do you know, its a bl**dy tank! I know Grumman's nickname was "The Iron Works" but this is taking it a bit far!
