Remains of Air Force Mosquito Found at SeaThe remains of an Israel Air Force de Havilland DH.98 "Mosquito" were found in the Mediterranean Sea last week, during natural gas explorations. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are checking to see if the plane was the one flown by Second Lieutenant Oded Shatil and First Lieutenant Uriel Eshel who were listed as killed in action following their disappearance during a training mission in 1953 and whose burial place is unknown. IDF Spokesman Yoav Mordechai said, Thursday evening, that the families of the airmen will be notified when there are conclusive results. www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/268406

Wonder how much of the wood is left after 60 years in the water. Mind you if its deep enough and not too many nibbly things around maybe its still a recognisable shape?
