A couple of books from Air-Britain turned up in my PO Box today.
Volume Three of their 2006 two-volume publication, DC-1, DC-2, DC-3 - The First Seventy Years is a recent edition compiled in 2011 and brings the story up to date, including updating information about every individual DC-3 airframe. I notice a couple of corrections I sent to them with regard to NZ-registered airframes have been incorporated into Volume Three.
The other book is Ocean Sentinel - The Short Sunderland, just published. First impressions are really favourable, and in addition to the Sunderlands (both military and civil), there is extensive coverage of the Sandringhams, Seafords and Solents.
