Here is New Zealand's latest airworthy DC3. Fortunately the weather cleared the further south we got and had improved a lot by the time we got back. The photos from the flight are very pleasing. This aeroplane flew out to NZ from the UK in 2012 and you can read more at the link below. Geoff Cooper demonstrated some fantastic formation flying in the DC3 and Jay flew the Nanchang as camera ship. Thanks to all involved in making this flight possible.   |

Here is a photo I took on May 1 showing Cam Hawley flying his magnificent Staggerwing. Have just been reading the lastest edition of Classic Wings magazine and they have printed a feature on the aircraft using photos from this flight. Cam still has a few finishing touches to make to the aeroplane and the restoration is stunning in every way.  |

Geoff Cooper is seen here flying formation in the DC-3. He flew nice and close and could clearly hear that wonderful sound of the DC-3.  |
