The chances that this isn't a re-hashed press release with added local quotes spun to sound as positive as possible are minimal.
This is a insult to journalism
Those items are not evidence of Earhart's presence, and the first part of the second sentence is garbage.

Does that make Gavin Grimmer, and whoever else has spent a lot of money and resources trying to find ZK-AFB, mugs also? And I've been involved in chasing aircraft remains for the last 50 years so do I fall into that category too? |

Exactly, there's a huge difference here. I have nothing but utter respect for what you've achieved Shorty, and frankly think you should be Sir Shorty for saving all those aeroplanes, including the former Currawong that gives us so much pleasure.

I am with Dave on this one , TIGHAR have played this game for years with lots of hype and no real return , what have they done with the P38 they laid claim to in that estury in Wales several years ago . I am really left wondering why they still seem to have support with such a track record . Perhaps someone can list their real discoveries , other than the vanishing cream !
