Fantastic work, Dave. I'm really enjoying this series of interviews with Noel and these latest two have continued the trend of fascinating stories that have had me laughing as I'm listening (much to the bemusement of those around me as I'm usually listening via ear-piece ) Noel's got a great descriptive talent & his balance of flying stories with technical detail and "human factors" is a winner. Noel's very moving description of Jim's funeral was a real kicker. Well done to you both & I'm really looking forward to the next installment PS Yes, my avatar is a "hero shot" with the "Temora" Sabre. I'd just finished recording an interview with Simmo about flying the aircraft (we'd been sitting on the wing & leaning on the fuselage) and he said "Get on up there & have the photo taken"

Thanks for the feedback Grant.
I found the Canberra episode really interesting indeed, and you're right about Noel's moving tribute to his friend Jim. A really great episode in my opinion, if I say so myself.
I was thinking last night, in years to come I can see myself loading the whole series with Noel onto the iPod and listening over and over again.
