I wonder if Sir Peter Jackson / 14-18 Trust / TVAL / AHC are taking an interest in any of the WW1 replicas?
While none of them seem to fit the current policy of originals / exact reproductions there are some interesting replica airframes would fit into the AHC.
I'm thinking of the Fokker D.VII's/C.I, Fokker D.VIII, Bleriot X1, and Sopwith Camel. The Art Williams built Albatros D.Va (ex FAA museum) would also look good in the AHC. These would leave the current TVAL fleet free to keep flying.
The Fokker D.VI would fill a gap in the current Fokker line-up.
There are also 3 Warner-powered Fokker DR1's...

I hear Jerry has already sold his FW-190A8 to an undisclosed buyer. 6/25/13: The Tillamook Air Museum of Tillamook, Oregon has just issued the following press release: The Tillamook Air Museum, in cooperation with owner and operator Jack Erickson, do hereby announce the acquisition of a WWII B-17G Bomber “Chuckie” and a German Focke-Wulf 190 to its growing collection of historic flying airplanes. The B-17 will make its journey from the east coast to Tillamook this Saturday and is excepted to arrive on Monday (weather dependent). The FW 190 will soon to follow. This is certainly good news for warbird enthusiasts on the West Coast, particularly as the Tillamook Air Museum is an institution that maintains their craft in flying condition and gives the public the opportunity to see these historic craft where they were meant to be, in the air. www.warbirdsnews.com/warbird-news/first-confirmed-warbird-sales-jerry-yagen-military-aviation-museum.htmlwww.tillamookair.com/21 June 2013: We're not just in the sales business, were in the information business. Two weeks ago we learned that the Yagen / Military Aircraft Collection was coming up for sale. Platinum Flighter Sales flew back to Virginia Beach and quickly put together a package deal on the B-17G Flying Fortress and FW-190A8. www.platinumfighters.com/#!news-and-updates/sitepage_5

As I understand it he is looking to sell 'some' of the aircraft. He probably has a dollar amount in mind, and once he sells enough aircraft to meet that dollar amount the remaining aircraft will be taken off the market.
I think he was doing an auction type of process with a closing date of 4 July, so the results could be available soon.
The published reason for the sale was that he is no longer in a position to subsidise the museum to the extent he has been.

From AvWeb (USA), today,
KA 114 - 'The' ONLY flying DH-98, Mk 6, is for sale....
YAGEN SELLING WARBIRD COLLECTION One of the largest and most prized collections of rare warbirds is being sold off because owner Jerry Yagen says he can't afford it anymore. (Click here for a PDF list of the inventory.) Yagen, who recently added the world's only flying Mosquito fighter bomber to his stable of 44 warbirds, says he's always pouring money into the aircraft and he can't do it any longer. " just can no longer afford to subsidize the operations of these airplanes. There are a few interested parties," Yagen said in an email to AVweb. Yagen's B-17 "Chuckie" an a Focke-Wulf 190 were bought by the Tillamook Air Museum in Oregon. As we reported earlier this year, Yagen asked EAA for financial help to bring aircraft to AirVenture 2013 but EAA said it could not set that precedent. Yagen told the Virginia Pilot he's already sold four vocational trade schools associated with his aviation enterprises in Virginia and the Military Aviation Museum in Pungo, near Virginia Beach, may also be shuttered. More...
A further report says KA114 has already been sold to a collector in Texas....
