The US Army with the help of the USAF has built a US$34 million brand new building in Helmand Province Afgahistan. The US Marines tried to stop the project saying it wasn't needed but a USAF unit issued an order for the construction of said building. Since its construction it has lain empty and will not be used by US forces in Afghanistan. To compound matters it has been built to US standards and it's electrical sysrem is different to the Afghani electrical system. So two choices existfor the US Govt. One demolish it or two, hand it over to the Afghanistan Govt which would necessitate rewiring the electrical systems. www.defensenews.com/article/20130710/DEFREG02/307100016/SIGAR-Empty-HQ-Afghanistan-An-Example-Waste-U-S-Military-Construction
