Global Conflict Blue and its successor Global Conflict Blue 2 are real time 3D naval and air warfare simulations that have caught our attention over the years as the games have progressed significantly. The gaming/simulation models seem sophisticated and the visuals are outstanding. The GUI seems particularly well thought out and continues to evolve as development continues. Best of all this is and indie effort with the stated goal of producing a scalable single player and multiplayer game that can handle scenarios ranging from simple engagements playable in thirty minutes to massive campaigns contested over weeks. This is NOT an evolution of Fleet Command but rather a brilliant indie effort to produce a quality simulation/game.
