Very neat. phorography in there is difficult though. Forget the B-2 and B-36, by far the coolest has to be the B-58 Hustler! Note also the palleted MOAB (Massive Ordnance Aerial Bomb or "Mother Of All Bombs") next to the C-130.

It is the world's finest aviation museum - bar none. Had the pleasure of visiting there in 2008 (on a free trip I might ad, in fact I even got paid to visit!!) But 5 hours was nowhere near enough, on my bucket list to return with my oldest son one day soon. The B-2 is a replica but hardly surprising when you consider the cost & scarcity of the real bird. Mr VS - I hope you got access to the Presidential & Experimental hangar? Ahhh.... the beautiful & exotic XB-70 Valkrie Thanks for the wonderful photos mate - encore!

I like the Piper Enforcer, a turbine powered P-51! I remember a perspex cutout that you had to be able to fit through to be able to access the old Air Force One that Nixon went to China in. You can walk through the middle of the aircraft, but the sides are blanked off with perspex and it gets a bit narrow in parts, which means that only about half the American population could access it!

Great pics - and a wealth of interesting aircraft. I think the rest of us need to start saving for a future journey and I'm planning ahead now for a visit in five years time!! Counting down to when I have some free time

Thanks for the photos. Truly a wonderous place to add to the bucket list. Mine would be the F82 Mustang. I could find a good use for that MOAB.

Looks like a fantastic museum - especially like how they manage to fit a lot of exhibits in, without making it look like they were wedged in with a crow bar..... plenty of space to view each aircraft.
