I find WIX boring, It's just about US warbirds. I prefer the historic angle and international flavour of FlyPast.
There are a lot of nuts on Wix too.

Yeah, granted, but WIX does have some useful stuff in it. Like Col Rohr for instance.... ;D

You know, of course, I'm joking. Rob isn't a bad sort when all is said and done. He's just a little odd. WIX is ok, and yes it does have its uses (shelter when FP is down!) but it is very limited compared with FlyPast. That is not to say anything detrimental to WIX though, it is a great forum for what it is and I congratulate Scott on his fine board. But FP has the best amount of experts and genuine hands-on people I have found in the historic aviation world. I guess it all depends what you are most interested in, hence the reason I created this very specialised board to cater to our needs too.

Yes and a fine job you do, Dave. WIX is good for me as I have a strong interest in US Navy aircraft and that is the place to learn more. If you want to know anything about Spits and Lancs, FP seems to be the place, sometimes gets too much focus only on those two (oh and P-51's also). But yes I do enjoy these 3 forums, the missus always tells me off for staying up too late here at the PC..
