Started off heading out to Palmdale. From there, went out to Lancaster, just up the road. The Museum is small but does have a couple of nice exhibits.

Heading back from a week in Nevada, stopped off at the Northern gate to Edwards and snapped this NB-52

And back to LAX to fly back home. A cup of coffee or two at the Proud Bird Cafe Only a short two week trip of which 1 week ended up photographing no aircraft. But I reckon I still got enough to make it seem worthwhile.

Neat shots. It's interesting to see that Argosy, odd that such a rare British aircraft is in the USA. Also what is that movie star from? Is that a 747 front section? Which film?

Picture a little Tom Cruise running around it. I think it was called War of the Worlds.

Nice photos. I wonder what the missile is underneath the port wing of the B52.

Nice photos. I wonder what the missile is underneath the port wing of the B52. Perhaps (the outer parts of) a Hound Dog

Neat! That NB-52 has a heck of a history to it: it looks like its dropped some X-planes; X-15, all those odd ball Nasa lifting bodies. I wonder what they'll do with that On Mark Mitchell, probably turn it back into a bomber. I'd like to see one maintained as a VIP aircraft just to see what the inside of these conversions was like.
