Excellent shooting - nice panning with the slow speed aperture, and a nice variety of aircraft too. Thanks for sharing - hmmm, more to come - great!!

Super photos Colin. I wish I didn't have the flu so I could have gone.

I'm picking that a few were orbiting all over the place... I'd bet that was about the time that the Jetstream ran off the runway in Auckland and would have cause a bit of holding as the runway was closed for about 30 mns.

Also, what the hell is that site on about where someone reckoned they use chem trails in seismic testing for oil and gas exploration? Um, how does that work?
I saw a car today with a sticker on the back window saying "Stop Deep Sea Oil". I was tempted to write a note and place it. "Stop Using Oil In Your Car Then". Bloody numpties.

You should have done it! Or maybe theyre happier to use petroleum products that are sourced ONshore? These are probably the same guys that fly around the world to educate us on why the oil industry is soooo bad, whilst in the process using tons of jet fuel to do so. But this does digress from some excellent pics of some great little flying machines!
