Love the paint schemes on the P51B or C Mustangs. There's a P51D with that zig-zag stripe flying in the US isn't there? Great collection. look like they were taken yesterday.

Stirling went over 'The Hump' to Kunming - one of the few RAF aircraft to go there. A couple of P-51s from the 118thTRS were shot down over Hong Kong on missions.

I've seen a few of these before, that is a particualrly good grouping of them. The Stirling & Warwick are in the late war transport command scheme of Extra Dark Sea Grey/ Dark Slate Grey/ Azure blue, in the Stirlings case, pretty well faded though some of that may be down to the way the pictures are exposed, photographing in very glarey tropical conditions is never easy & this would have been with a manuallly set camera.
