I just listened to a great interview on the latest podcast from Aviation Xtended in which Pieter Johnson talked with Tracey Curtis-Taylor (who is a Brit but she learned to fly and was an instructor right here in New Zealand). She is planning to recreate a flight made in 1928 in which Irish pilot Mary heath flew solo from Capetown in South Africa to England. Tracey is doing it in a Boeing-Stearman, starting from Capetown on the 1st of November. You can read more and follow her progress from her website here www.capetowntogoodwood.com/And listen to the interview in Episode 18 of the Aviation Xtended podcast here: aviation-xtended.co.uk/ep-18-cape-town-to-goodwood/

Tracey was also a flying member of New Zealand Warbirds apparently. Does anyone know what warbird types she flew here? And did she ever do any airshow displays?
