Saw an article on the Royal Air Force website yesterday, and as Charlie is a former RNZAF ACW pilot, I thought it would be of interest to a number of ex/current RNZAF personnel: "Squadron Leader Charlie Matthews of No 1 (Fighter) Squadron, based at RAF Leuchars in Fife, recently reached a significant milestone in his flying career becoming one of the few pilots in the world to complete one thousand hours operating the Typhoon, the RAF’s state-of-the-art, multi-role combat aircraft."

Awesome, that is quite an achievement in such a short few years they have been in service, surely?

Great achievement, even more so when you consider how much time and effort goes into generating, planning, running, and operating each sortie, well done Charlie.
