Many, many moons ago I was given a Beaufort tail wheel which was brand new, I knew of this aircraft being restored and visited her when she was in Brisbane. I spoke with a chap named Ralf Kusack who at the time was the owner and may still be, told him that I had a tail wheel which I donated to the project. In return Ralf gave me this panel off an Australian Beaufort which he had salvaged off a wreck somewhere in the south west pacific. So pleased to see progress on this machine and I wonder if she sits on my tail wheel? The panel is from under the pilots position and you can just see the bomb mission markings.

Hi The name is Ralph Cusack and yes I think A9-141 is sitting on your tail wheel but I will check with Ralph for you, The main wheels and brakes are from a P3 Orion as they are the correct size and are safer Thanks for your info Kind regards John
