Im surprised no one has commented on this yet . I quite like it actually , its kind of the " missing link " people talk about ( you know - the grey area between a huge RC model big enough to hold a pilot , and an aircraft so small that only a jockey could fly it ) . Sure , its no warbird and possibly not even a practical GA aircraft - but I still think its cool ( hope that doesnt " date " me too much using a term like " cool " )

This project has been linked form the forum before but I think it's worth seeing again. I am looking forward to it flying. It reminds me of the half-scale Short Stirling that Short Bros built as a concept testbed before embarking on the full scale prototype.

Is it just me but to me the photo they're using as a header on FB looks like it has eyes in the windscreen like in the movie "Planes"? Steve.

Well, I am absolutely amazed. And I was only half-way through the video before realizing that it was intended to fly! (Hint, I was too lazy to read the earlier posts.) If I heard that noise coming, I would certainly look up, it certainly makes a different sound, those engines are singing all right. Good name too. David D

That film was great Shorty. It's such a shame Jack Bally passed away so soon after he finally got it flying.
