Nice photos. I wonder, have any aircraft from the Portuguese Air Force visited New Zealand in the past?

Do we really need to be bored to death with 13 very ordinary pix of the same aircraft here when just two or three would have done just fine? Less is more, as they say!

Personally I did not find the selection boring, it is nice to get an all round coverage of an unusual visitor to these shores, I think.

Should keep every one happy, it looks a bit like a C130H, also like a Friendship. Two engines to replace the Eagle? uses the same fuel as all the rest, and bigger than a T-6C Texan II

I liked the humour of the Tecnam being followed by the Casa 295 both taxiing and just after takeoff... The doors - the rear door is on the port side so have one of each plus an emergency hatch on port side at front as well.

Errol I think these are good photos considering the fog and a rare type from an Air Force that has probably not been seen here before. Pretty harsh there Errol.

Nice pictures and a nice looking aircraft, could well end up being our transport and mpa replacement, you never know.

So did any top brass go for a look over it, or even for a flight.
