Hi, My name is Ewen and I'm one of those weird envelope collectors. I've been collecting TEAL flight covers for a good 7 years now and have enjoyed researching and learning about the airline's beginning and their development. I'd like member's help in identifying certain photographs that were used as a part of covers sent on the inaugural trans-Tasman service. If any of you are extremely bored, and looking for a way to kill some time, then feel free to read through this thread where I show a lot of my collection; www.stampboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=44805

Peter Lewis has already helped me out by letting me know most will likely be by Whites Aviation. I would love to be able to find examples of the photos that these covers were based on. I'll show you an example of what I mean; [/quote]

And another example. The cover is by Walter Crosby and the photo taken by Leo White, courtesy of the National Library of NZ.

Ok, so here's one where I'd love to see the photo used on this one, again sent on TEALs first service. Can anyone assist?

Another photo I'm trying to find. This is the Centaurus, almost certainly taken by Leo White in Wellington on New Years Eve either '37 or '38. I've seen one very similar but taken from a slightly different angle. Again, many thanks in advance for having a look.
