I know real-time strategy games aren't exactly a popular past-time for most on here, I thought I should still share that the latest version in the Wargame series, Wargame Red Dragon features a number of RNZAF (and army) units.
It focuses on the years 1975 - 1991, and the RNZAF units are part of the ANZAC battlegroup. It comes out next week on the 17th
More like Command and Conquer I guess , the 'resources' are based on holding points on the map which affects the rate of points available to call in reinforcements. Most gameplay is based on accumulating a certain number of kill points - a main battle tank might be 100 points, but an empty truck only 1
I played a little of the previous game in the series (Airland Battle) which is based in Europe and enjoyed it, and its fun to use units you don't normally see in games like this - Airland battle has about 750 units available whereas Red Dragon is over 1200 apparently.
