Although, as we were briefed after GW2, the Iraqi Air Farce, sorry Force, had secretly contacted the US and said they wouldn't fight. They showed their good intentions by burying/dismembering/etc their aircraft so they wouldn't get bombed.

They were petrified of allied air power, and rightly so, 15 odd years of bugger all spares/training/capability increase they wouldn't have lasted long.
Interestingly enough there is a Vampire there, still fitted with ordnance!
