I guess it depends how they qualify it.
- Last Hurricane pilot based in France at the time?
- Last Fighter Command veteran of the Battle?
- Last RAF veteran of the Battle?
- Last British veteran of the Battle?
- Last Allied veteran of the Battle?
- Last veteran of the Battle?
But yes, we are now seeing the last of the Greatest Generation passing away, those who fought in all the theatres. It's really sad and sobering.
