Does anyone know whether the RNZAF's first ever airshow, held at Rongotai on the 4th of June 1938, was filmed by any of the news companies?
There were certainly companies around that might have filmed it, I mean ten years before that the Southern Cross's arrival was filmed, and many other aviation events of the 1930's were filmed too. So something as big as the Rongotai airshow makes sense. But I've never seen any footage of it.
