Fantastic to see, thanks for posting. Note that the USAF stars and bars and stencilling are looking a little fresh, this is because the aircraft, Spad, F-5, A-37 and probably the UH-1 and stuff are ex-Republic of South Vietnam Air Force equipment and have had its markings oversprayed. Once the north had over run the south, examples of the F-5 and A-37 in particular were sent to Eastern Bloc countries in the Warsaw Pact for examination. I remember going to a museum in Poland and seeing, to my surprise South Vietnamese F-5 and A-37 on display.

Nice post and pictures. It's interesting how the SEA camouflage has dulled/bleached over time, really brings out the different colours. I notice all the exhibits seem to wear the US insignia, but somehow I suspect they may have also worn the South Vietnamese Air Force markings when they were captured?

The schemes on those aircraft are definitely not authentic. They are modern day "interpretations" to put it generously .

Nice pictures of the planes and tanks, so thanks for them. Where exactly is this museum located? I would like to learn more about that place and I have the feeling its not too near to my location. Rgds Clipper NY

It is near Dist 3 not far from the centre of HCMC. Basically on the tourist loop of Saigon.

Yep what baronbeeza said, it's pretty easy to get to just don't trust the moto taxi pricks! if you go to use them on the tourist loop or just about anything they will do their best to screw you.
