I see in the Royal Air Force's Red Arrows team for this year, their 50th Anniversary year as a team, there's a British-born but Kiwi bred, and ex-RNZAF, pilot, James McMillan. He is Red 6, the Synchro Leader. It's great to see another 'kiwi' in the team. www.raf.mod.uk/reds/pilots/red6.cfm

Yeah he's a nice guy too, although I have only met him briefly. It is always weird to look at these websites and see things like Sqn Ldr Mike Ling, with 6 years experience on the Reds, and remembering him as JP on Tremblers! Makes one feel old

Sorry 111(F) Sqn, known as Tremblers or Treble One (although you can use 'one hundred and eleven' or 'one eleven' sqn if you want to annoy them ). JP is Junior Pilot too.
