Are there any Xbox games based around bomber crews in RAF Bomber Command?

I don't believe so. Apart from Flight Sims don't believe there are any specific WW2 Bomber Command games. Do recall playing a real early Mosquito bombing game on Sega Master System......may be showing my age here.

That's a pity. A game focusing on a crew in training and getting onto the squadron, and going on raids with the player playing each crew member's perspective in different levels would be good. Then the bomber could be shot down and the player has to play each character's attempt to evade and escape. I'd play it!

I seem to recall a game where you were crew on a B17 and could change crew positions.

I don't think there has ever been a Bomber Command sim. I played a fair amount of the B17 game back in the day. Check this link: www.gog.com/game/b_17_flying_fortress_the_mighty_8thI have not looked at it in years, but I recall it being good fun. I never did much piloting, but planning the route to the target, navigating, manning the guns and using the Norden bombsight were entertaining. There used to be a few mods around for increasing formation sizes, flak intensity and fighter attacks, but that might be a bit hard to find now.

IMO PS4 and Xbox One game developers are to welded to the likes of first person shooters. A decent series of Flight sims would get me interested in the next gen consoles.
