Hi all, I have been having a fiddle with the forum colurs as you can see, and added a new NZ aviation themed header.
So, do you like it or hate it? It's easy to revert back to the old colours if the majority wishes. Have your vote now.

For those who don't like the new colours there's an easy solution (so long as you're a member of the forum).
Go into your profile, and click Modify Profile. Ensure you put your password in twice at the top otherwise it cannot be changed. Then go down near the bottom and where it says Select Skin, simply select Default, and it will return your own personal viewing back to the old colours, whilst everyone else sees it in the new.
Hopefully that will work and placate everyone.
If you revert back to the New Skin, select the top one. The bottom one in the pulldown is the same except for the popup colours which I found were too hard to read - white on yellow.

Looks pretty good, Dave, except being an ex-Cantabrian I would have preferred Red and Black! ;D

Hehe. Oh well, it's the Sydenham colours at least! They were a great Canterbury team when I was there.

Changing RNZAF roundels over the years would be interesting somewhere in the improved display format. Apparently in the 1960s there was pressure from air staff operating out of singapore etc to change our roundel from what the aussies etc would describe as the "white feather". However the change was delayed from HQ RNZAF because of the kiwi being the "flightless bird"......here's a question to ponder.....should the traditional fin flashes be changed to reflect something less RAF and more NZ looking like the Canadians did with their flag on their aircraft?

Steve, an interesting topicmbut it would be better in a hread of its own in the Postwar RNZAF board. As administrator I cannot move a single post to a seperate thread. Perhaps you'd like to restart the topic on a new thread?

I like the new colours but I just took a look at the old colours and they're a bit more to my liking but awesome colour scemes in both!
