I've been mucking round in 1/144 for a bit... Roden C-47 in Buffalo airways markings, I borrowed a set of skis from a Minicraft C-47 kit  A Platz C-46 Commando is also 'under production'   |

The props were replaced with 3 bladers from a couple of Revell 'microwings' Grumman Hellcats as most C-46s came off the production line with 4 bladed props (as kitted). Apparently there is a detailed photoetch fret for the model (detailed cockpit & wheelwells etc), but its a bit over the top in this scale!

an electra's on the cards I have a Welsh vac/resin one but it might appear in Kiwi markings  |
