AirNZ as a domestic sale on day e.g. $45 per leg AKL-WLG. So if you were thinking of flying in to Wellington for this, get in fast.
I've booked on the 8am arrival on the 29th. Anyone interested in sharing a rental car? Offers of transport to Masterton also gratefully considered, although I realise the timing is a bit tight if people want to make it the practice. Substantial contribution to costs offered, of course (it won't be hard to be cheaper than a car rental).

So, anyone up for a quick one after the show on Saturday?
Hoping to see a few new-to-me aircraft!

Classic Flyer Tauranga just sent out a email that included the fact that Keith Skilling will be at this. So at least there is the possibility of some Corsair action if the winds are too high for the WW1 designs.

I'm working late-shift all this weekend (starting at 2:30pm today, then a little bit later on Saturday and Sunday). So I won't make it, but not to worry, my shifts align better with next month's flying weekend when I'm on early shift. One of the joys of living local in Wairarapa is that if I miss one, there is always the next one.

And cancelled due to forecast high winds :-( I think it about time I visit Martinborough!

Errol - you could catch up with my brother, previous cpl, FU-24 and now a vineyard and label owner... living just out of Martinborough with largest vineyard over there... wife in Europe with their wine and label with a silver medal! First year out... Cab Sav I think.

I'm looking at other options around Greater Wellington too, as I don't normally have a car and a spare day when in Wellington, and including the southern Wairarapa in a future road trip is moderately probable.
