There are several special events being mounted this week and some going till May and beyond, around the country marking the 90th Anniversary of the Gallipoli landings. If you are local to any you may like to check them out. We'd love a full report with piccies if you do go please.

I went to Te Papa yesterday and looked at the Army display. Out the front, there was an LAV111, and out the back they had a M113 APC, a Pinzgauer truck and a Scorpion Tank. What was of note was that the APC was decked out in white UN colours with anti-RPG armour fitted. Anyway, there were soldiers of which several I talked to about the displays. They were very polite and more than willing to engage in conversation (to me and the public also). Excellent stuff
Well done, NZ Army
