Did you see 3 News? There was an excellent report on the Pioneer Aero restoration team.
Lots of footage of the OS&RC (formerly OFMC's) P40 with Ray Hanna at te controls, flying with Garth Hogan's P40N.
Also some gorgeous air to air shots of Frank Parker flying Ray Hanna's newly restored Yak 3.
I wish I'd taped it.
Also just before that, a report marking 65 years since the first commercial trans-Tasman crossing by the TEAL Empire flying boat. It took ten hours and in real terms tickets cost 30 times the amount they do now!
