A P40 has had an undercarriage collapse on landing in the US. Isn't this the P40 that was restored here in NZ? Here is the link to the rather brief article link

Don;t think it was restored here, Avspecs restored a P-40C numbered '160', this is a P-40B '284'.

Restored by the Curtiss Wright Historical Association / Project Tomahawk, using parts from 39-285, 39-287. The fuselage was restored by 2001. Purchased by the The Fighter Collection in Duxford, England during 2003 and registered as G-CDWH.
