How about a forum get-together at the Classic Fighters awards dinner on the Sunday evening? Exactly what I was thinking, Bruce. Can we book a WONZ table perhaps?

It's more a case of getting there early enough to grab a table or two.

I'm basically tied up most of Easter weekend because of the large party I'm attending the airshow with.
We are catching a 6:30pm ferry sailing to Picton on the Thursday evening, due to arrive in Picton at 9:40pm, then we'll be staying at our usual accommodation in Picton.
On Friday, we plan to be at the airshow by about lunchtime and we will be staying until after the fireworks display, then heading back to Picton.
On Saturday and Sunday, we will all be attending the airshow and we are planning a dinner together (along with some other people who are staying elsewhere in Picton) at the home we are renting for the weekend.
On Sunday, we will be heading back to Picton after the airshow to get showered up and changed, then the whole group of us will be returning to Omaka for the Awards Dinner. And that is where I've got to make a decision. I usually sit at the awards dinner with a group of people I have met up with at Warbirds Over Wanaka for about the past twenty years. However, this year I will have my group with me, so I've got to decide if it would be rude to abandon them to a table of their own and sit with my usual tablemates. Or, if forum members are meeting up at the Awards Dinner, whether to abandon both of the aforementioned groups and sit with the forum members.
We are packing up on Monday morning and cleaning up our accommodation, then checking in at lunchtime for the return sailing back to Wellington.
So as you can see, we've got a rather full weekend, so if a forum meet is planned for Saturday evening, I will have to pass on it because of what we have previously planned.
