I know there are currently two DH 60 Moths on the ZK register, (ZK-ADT and ZK-AEJ) but are there many others in NZ that are not currently active? Any on public display anywhere? Or under rebuild?
Such an important aircraft in our country's history but somewhat overlooked in preservation. I think the RNZAF Museum should try to secure a Moth for display as they were so important to the NZPAF and RNZAF in the war.

Cool. Any RNZAF or NZPAF history with them? Or prewar NZ aeroclub service?

Here are some nice prewar Moths, a photo given to me by Sally Coles - daughter of RNZAF and NZTAF pilot Tony Firth

Just found this thread - I have noted that: ACE is with Colin Smith at Mandeville ACH is with Keith Trillo at Auckland, after recovery of remains from Kaimanawa Ranges
