It was really great to read in the latest Classic Wings (Issue 53, page 53) a small article about how on the 18th of November 2005 Sir Tim Wallis returned to the air and took the controls of a high performance ex-military aircraft - the Wanaka based L-39 Albatross.
What a really great thing, good on Robert Borriius-Broek for arranging this flight. I loved the fact the planned 20 minute flight turned to 55 minutes, and the fact Robert said he flew it like he flies it every day.
Sir Tim has still got it!
