A bit of digital painting

Just an idea I've been toying with now and then on my alter ego Facebook page.

Seeing as how there is a veritable plethora of talented aviation photographers on the forum (Omaka coverage case in point) I've been experimenting with digital painting on some of my less than stellar efforts in the hope of coming up with a point of difference.

Anyhow, for what it's worth - here's an idea of what one would look like with a frame etc.

I meant to post it on the forum a while ago but got totally sidetracked.... as usual......

It is a different shot anyway from a privileged side of the runway too? Which makes the photo a variation on what we have seen. I like the rendition as an arty alternative! I think a fair bit of digital work went into it as well to brighten up the shaded side, but I could be wrong... nice panning, good shot.
