Like NZ, Sweden also planning their C130H fleet replacement (post 2021). Their defence bill for 2016-2020 period identifies the need to address the C-130H replacement issue in the next decade. Currently with an active fleet of five transports and one KC-130H tanker, the Swedish airforce is looking to reduce their active fleet further to only four examples. They are currently looking at potential candidates the Embraer KC-390 and Airbus A400M.
