The ex-RNZAF P-40N NZ3125 which is being restored by Pioneer Aero is near to flight by the look of the photo in the Feb 2006 edition of NZ Aviation News. Compared to photos on Pioneer's site here www.pioneeraero.co.nz/p-40n1_allan_arthur.htmit has wings on, is on it's feet and looks close to running the Allison. I note this is neither one saved by John Smith nor John Chambers, nor Motat. So where did this come from? How was it saved? This one isn't usually listed among NZ survivors is it? What's it's story? I also note it's now owned by an Australian - wuill it have RNZAF colours, or like Col Pay's ex-RNZAF example will it wear Aussie colours?
