I think the top 4 photos are of the one and only one to have a hook fitted, it was found to be unsuitable for carrier work.(5) P-51Ds with the hood s covered, (6)With the engines covered. (7)P-51Bs with no prop, fin , or tail plane. These 3 photos look as though they are being transported to the UK. the last one looks like a USAAF Sqd being transported to a battle area. isc
