I see in the April new registrations that Cliff Netherclift has finally got the Aeronica 100 up and running. This 1930s 'microlight', the British-built version of the American Aeronica C-3, spent many years in Australia before going to Fiji in 1949 as VQ-FAJ. It was semi-active there until damaged in an accident in 1958. It arrived, still damaged, in NZ in 1965 and has been stored/under slow restoration ever since. It is a first of type in NZ. Looking forward to seeing around in the air!
