According to his daughter, some years prior to 1983 Les Bayly, a Sopwith Camel pilot with 208 Squadron in 1918, wrote an account of his experiences for the Waikato Aero Club and it was published in the Club's newsletter at the time.
Probably a bit of a long shot, but I wonder if anyone here is able to lay their hand on the article?
