I have going through my old Aircraft photo's and found a couple that might test some of the experts on this forum. The chocolate fish prizes have been ordered a great expense . The WHAT will be the easy bit on this one. The WHERE is an Airshow! The second is tricky for the WHEN so I will substitute WHY? There is no Airshow involved!! Have fun and be in quick because I seen the depth of knowledge that is among the members of WONZ.

The what is clearly Colin Henderson's Messerschmitt Bf108. Not sure where, I'd guess maybe Tauranaga?
Is the second photo in New Zealand?

Yep Dave Correct about the Me108. No-one has picked the Airshow. A clue the background may not be the best way of establishing the destination!! Well done NZ5218 with the country for the Zero and Peter has twigged to the fact that the buiding is the key to the rest. It's not Raffles so I replaced the photo with an uncropped one with a clue to the why? And here is another shot of the Buiding from it's Website. Oop's no I won't it has copywrite on it I will have to find another. Here we are this one is OK thanks to Wikimedia as long as I attribute it. Thanks Wikimedia.

Me108 seems to be flying close to a racecourse if that is a clue? If you mean in the foreground it's not a Racecourse it's an Airport Taxiway now thats a clue. Sorry again Dave. I will organise another photo

I will organise another photo No I meant the race watch towers in the background - two of them plus some other structures. Perhaps not a race course but look very much like covered viewing platforms... interesting photos!!

I am not sure I don't think it's a racecourse but if it's what i think it is there is a connection to the Airfield it is a clue!!!
-I've had a look at a recent picture of the Airport and there is no Racecourse nearby and the Structures have gone with the passing of time.
