Caught up with the boys from Gisborne based Farmers Air last month. The Falco 750 is such an innovative machine, all electric and lightweight hopper. A credit to Andy, Andrew and crew for all their hard work in designing such an awesome aeroplane. So is that based on a PAC 750XL?

They are XL750's but with the various modifications, the operator calls them Falco's. That lower cowling is a very nice mod.

I wonder if given the extra cockpit width and no doubt dual controls, whether they will become the aircraft of choice for ag rating training. I imagine they could run a 2 pilot crew without affecting productivity significantly and hence allow greater period of dual training without being prohibitively expensive.
