Welcome to the forum. Great photos. Where did this flying training take place? And where are No. 4 Squadron ATC based?
What is actually involved in a cadet getting onto a flying training programme? I assume not everyone in the ATC gets such an opportunity?

Thank you for the welcome. This flying training look place at Drury Gliding club and No 4 Squadron ATC is based at Ardmore. What is actually involved in a cadet getting onto a flying training programme? All Auckland based Atc Units can apply to the pegasus flying trust ATC, more information can be found on their website at www.pegasusflyingtrust.co.nz

No 3 SQN ATC had their basic cadets flying camp on the far side of RNZAF Air force Base Auckland with ex RNZAF Pilot P eter Thorpe. here are some of the photos.
