Recently found this blog written by Paul Courtnage. It covers his life growing up with a father in the RAF (pilot) and then his career in the RAF starting in the 1970s. Very easy to read and some funny stories mixed in with coping with flying at the sharp end of the RAF. Reading this I learned that 43 Squadron has it's own drink(probably not the only one I'm sure) and you even get the recipe!
