Um...that's a photo of TB863, possibly at Wanaka being flown by Nigel Lamb. It's easy not to be jealous when the aircraft in the photo captioned "Here’s a shot of Brad Pitt and testing out his Spitfire" is not the airframe (or pilot) being talked about.
What a poorly-researched and -written article!
Unless Brad Pitt has bought TB863 from the Temora team and it hasn't been publicised anywhere else?

Yup. Thing is, Pitt bought his Spit back in December 2013 whilst filming Fury. Not sure which one it is, but it aint TB863.

This website seems to be a real "clickbait" outfit, and for some reason it angers me beyond reason. No sources cited, no dates, no detail - it boggles my mind how they survive.

This story is doing the rounds on Facebook again still showing TB863, did anyone find out which spit he owns or is this all fake news? If I had his money I would have more than just a spitfire, I think Tom Cruise has a P51. Maybe we should ask Peter Jackson to make a movie with them all in it but they all have to by a warbird and then display them at Omaka too! Still waiting for my movie debut callup........
