Yeah, it's pretty bad, the engines were damaged and the aircraft requires two engine changes. There was also damage to the undercarriage, although I'm not sure to what extent, there were also two persons injured in the incident.
The band has taken to hiring a 737 to take it round the rest of South America and is appropriating another 747 for the rest of its tour,presumably until Ed Force One is repaired. The 73 has been nicknamed 'Spare Force One' by the band and some wag on the Iron Maiden FC forum (unashamed FC Member here) called it Ed Force Juan... Brilliant!

Some of you will know that the Iron Maiden 747 tour aircraft had its port engines hit by a truck. (Yeah WTF?) Here's a link showing the engine changes: HERE
